UAE Golden Visa – Residency Program for Professionals 2023

Foreign nationals and their dependents may apply for and receive a long-term visa in the UAE through the Golden Visa System for a UAE business visa. Entrepreneur who has operated their own business at some point in their career and intends to launch another one in the UAE qualifies for this visa program.

What is a UAE business visa?

A UAE business visa is a type of visa for international business owners who want to start up operations there. Entrepreneurs, along with their dependents, can apply for and receive a long-term visa under this Golden Visa System program. The main goal of implementing this visa program was to stimulate the UAE’s economic growth by fostering an atmosphere that would appeal to potential business owners.

Rates

The long-term residency visa for the UAE includes a 10-year and a 5-year validity.

The cost of a 10-year visa is only 1150 AED, compared to 650 AED for a 5-year visa.

This visa program does not necessitate the entrepreneur to provide any money to the government. If an individual invests 5 million AED or more in a UAE property, they will receive a 5-year residency permit. However, a 10-year residence permit is only granted to those who have accomplished any of the following:

  • Made a deposit of 10 million AED or more in any investment fund situated in the UAE; OR
  • Started a business in the UAE with a capital of 10 million AED or more; OR
  • Acquired shares with a partner firm worth at least 10 million AED; OR
  • A total investment of at least 10 million AED in any of the aforementioned sectors, subject to the requirement that sector investments (apart from real estate) make up no less than 60% of the total investment.
