The goal of the trip is to strengthen business ties between Oman and the countries of Asean. It also shows how the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion are working together to attract foreign investors and tell them about the business environment in Oman. The group was given a tour of the lounge and told about its different parts and the key services and incentives it offers to investors. The trip also showed how Oman has a lot of big investment possibilities in many areas of its economy.
A video presentation was shown to the group. It talked about the Investor Residency Programme and what special economic zones and free zones are and what their benefits are.
The delegation was also told about the most important parts of Oman’s business climate, the role of the lounge, and the services it offers to investors in a clear and organised way.
