Sr Accountant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Sr Accountant | Department: Accounts |
Experience: 4-8 years | Education: CA, Inter CA, CMA, CFA or eqvivalent degree |

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform internal audits of the company’s financial, operational, and compliance-related activities.
- Adherence to UAE, KSA, and Oman accounting standards, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Develop audit strategies and execute audit plans to identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare audit findings and actionable recommendations to senior management, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Assess the effectiveness of risk management and internal control systems, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring seamless cooperation during annual audits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and receipts.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior accountants and finance staff. Provide training and support as needed.
- Develop and implement improvements in accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for management and stakeholders. Ensure proper filing and organization of financial records.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA are highly preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in auditing, with a demonstrated understanding of UAE, KSA, and Oman regulations.
