WANT TO START A RECRUITMENT AGENCY IN DUBAI - UAE?

Dubai is the favourite destination for employment seeking foreigners, as this city offers encouraging prospects when it comes to payment, the standard of living, and growth in every sector. This has also encouraged the start-up companies to invest in Dubai. Job seekers get registered with the recruitment agencies to find their dream job. This opens up newer opportunities for the recruitment agencies thereby boosting the market.

There are two types of recruitment agencies in Dubai namely
  • Brokerage agency
  • Temporary recruitment agency

Brokerage agency

This type of agency is informally called a recruitment agency. The agency is allowed to mediate between employers and employees. The agency is also responsible for employment and contractual conditions. This is achieved by initially gathering a comprehensive database containing vital information about workers, job opportunities, applications, as well as details about both employees and employers. The agency’s core functions typically encompass the following:

  • Collection and safekeeping of worker data
  • Recording and updating the available job opportunities
  • Application storage and contractual data storage. All this data is used to negotiate with the employer whenever necessary

Temporary recruitment agency

These agencies play a pivotal role in sponsoring and hiring full-time employees, placing them temporarily with a third-party organization on a short-term basis. Consequently, the payroll and contractual documents pertaining to the employee are retained by the agency. In essence, they act as intermediaries facilitating temporary employment arrangements.

To open such an agency one needs to abide by the requirements formed by the Ministry. Any foreigner is eligible to open a recruitment agency in Dubai provided he/she satisfies the following guidelines:

  • You should not have a criminal record
  • Your company will have to submit a registered address of the head office in Dubai
  • A manager who is registered with the Ministry of Labor in Dubai must be appointed

Obtaining the Recruitment Consultancy License

Obtaining a recruitment license is a vital requirement when establishing a recruitment agency in Dubai. This license positions you as the intermediary connecting job seekers and employers. It’s worth noting that the acquired license holds a one-year validity, necessitating renewal thereafter. In order to adhere to UAE regulations effectively, it’s imperative to promptly inform the Ministry about any changes within your agency. By obtaining this license, you not only fulfill legal requirements but also equip yourself with the capability to assist new expatriates in their quest to secure suitable job opportunities in Dubai. This licensing process empowers you to make a positive impact on the employment landscape for both job seekers and employers. Moreover, it’s essential to understand the significance of this licensing process in facilitating the employment process.
