Government and Product Approvals

Regulatory clearances, product registration and customs approvals

A trade licence lets you exist. It does not always let you trade. Regulated activities need clearance from the relevant authority before you can operate, and physical products usually need registration before they can be sold or imported. These approvals sit outside the licensing process and are the most common reason a launch slips.
We identify which approvals your activity and your products actually need, prepare the technical files, and run the applications through to issue, including the inspections and re-submissions that often come with them.

Key features

The pattern we see most often is a company that has its licence, has signed a lease and has stock on the way, then discovers the product cannot clear customs because it was never registered, or that the premises cannot open until Civil Defence signs off on a fit-out that has already been built the wrong way.
Both are avoidable by mapping the approvals at the start. We do that before the lease is signed and before the first shipment leaves, so the sequence runs in the right order and the costs are known up front.
