Tax, Accounting and Audit

Corporate tax, VAT, bookkeeping, payroll and audit

Corporate tax changed what a UAE company has to be able to produce. Since financial years beginning on or after 1 June 2023 the rate is 0% on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9% above it, and registration plus an annual return are required whether or not you owe anything. Proper books stopped being optional at that point.
We register you, keep the records the law now expects, and file on time: corporate tax returns, VAT returns, management accounts, payroll through WPS, and audited accounts where your free zone or your bank asks for them.

Service overview

Corporate tax registration and return filing, VAT registration and quarterly returns, monthly bookkeeping and management accounts, outsourced payroll including WPS, statutory and internal audit, and outsourced CFO and company secretarial support. We also give a straight answer on whether a free zone entity genuinely qualifies for the 0% rate.
  • Corporate tax registration and annual returns, including nil returns
  • VAT registration and quarterly filing once you cross the threshold
  • Monthly bookkeeping, management accounts and audit-ready records
  • Payroll and WPS, plus end-of-service gratuity provisioning

Key features

The costly assumption is that a free zone address delivers 0% corporate tax automatically. It does not. The 0% rate applies to a qualifying free zone person on qualifying income, which turns on real substance in the zone and the kind of income you earn. Plenty of free zone companies are taxed at 9% and only find out at filing.

The second is leaving registration until the return is due. Late corporate tax registration and late filing both carry penalties in their own right, separately from any tax owed. Both are avoidable with a calendar and someone watching it.
