Cross-border, under scrutiny
International Business & Asset Holding in Seychelles
Seychelles entities are legitimate and widely used. They are also closely examined, and some plans will not survive that.

Transparency changed the calculation
Beneficial ownership registration, information exchange and the accounting record obligation mean a Seychelles company is not opaque. If the structure only works on the assumption that nobody will find out, it does not work. We would rather tell you that before you pay for it.
- Honest about what transparency now means
- Structure tested against banks and tax authorities, not just law
- Destination-country advice co-ordinated, not skipped
Mainland, free zone and offshore jurisdictions we file in — so the recommendation is based on your activity, not on which authority we happen to be registered with.

Settle these first
The questions that decide the structure
Answered honestly, the options narrow quickly.
| Question | Why it decides the structure |
|---|---|
| What is the commercial purpose? | A structure needs one that stands up to questioning. |
| Where are you tax resident? | Your home country rules usually dominate. |
| Will treaty benefits be claimed? | An IBC cannot deliver them. |
| Who must accept the structure? | Banks and counterparties test it too. |
| What advice exists at the other end? | The destination country decides much of this. |
| Can it be explained in a sentence? | If not, banking becomes very hard. |
Cross-border treatment depends on rules in more than one country and changes. We co-ordinate with advisers elsewhere rather than opining on their law. An International Business Company must at all times have a registered agent licensed by the Financial Services Authority. That is a statutory requirement in Seychelles. We co-ordinate your engagement with a licensed Seychelles registered agent and manage the process end to end; the regulated filings are made by them.
How it works
Working through it properly
Sometimes the honest answer is that Seychelles is not the right place.
Map the facts
Purpose, residences, income flows, counterparties and who will need to accept the structure.
Options and consequences
Which Seychelles vehicles fit, what each obliges annually, and where advice in another country is essential.
Form and document
The entity formed once agreed, with the commercial basis documented from the outset rather than reconstructed later.
To assess properly
What we need to see
Thin information produces a structure that fails on first contact.
- Commercial purpose of the structure
- Tax residence of the ultimate owners
- Countries where investments or customers are
- Whether treaty benefits are intended
- Expected income types and flows
- Existing group structure chart
- Documented source of wealth and funds
- Banking requirements and relationships
- Existing advice in other countries
- Any regulatory history anywhere
- Who else must approve the structure
- Timeline and what is driving it

Questions
Seychelles international structuring — FAQs
Is a Seychelles company confidential?
Beneficial ownership is registered and information is exchanged under international arrangements. It is not the opaque vehicle it is sometimes sold as.
Will my home country tax it?
Quite possibly. Most countries tax their residents on worldwide income and have anti-avoidance rules. That is a question for your advisers there, and we flag it.
Can a Seychelles company claim treaty benefits?
An IBC cannot. A Special Licence Company is the route where treaty access matters, with considerably more compliance.
Will a bank accept the structure?
That is the hardest test. Simple structures with a clear commercial purpose and documented funds fare best.
Do you form entities elsewhere?
No. We handle the Seychelles elements and co-ordinate with your advisers in other countries.
