Dubai, UAE – Dubai Chambers, the largest business chamber in the Middle East, today announced the opening of its first European representative office in London. The office will be responsible for promoting Dubai as a global business hub and facilitating trade and investment between the UAE and the UK.

The opening of the London office comes at a time when trade between Dubai and the UK is booming. In 2022, non-oil trade between the two countries reached $8.6bn, an increase of 28.6% from the previous year. The UK is now Dubai’s 14th largest trading partner.

The London office will be headed by Khalid Al Shamsi, Vice President of Operations at Dubai Chambers. Al Shamsi has over 20 years of experience in the field of trade and investment, and he is well-placed to lead the office in its mission to promote Dubai as a global business hub.
