The hardest part, said plainly
Corporate Bank Account Support in Seychelles
Opening a bank account is the hardest part of a Seychelles structure. Anyone promising it is overpromising.
GCC business setup specialists
No one can guarantee an account
Seychelles companies, particularly International Business Companies with non-resident owners, face thorough and often unsuccessful bank onboarding. Local banks apply strict due diligence and many offshore banks have withdrawn from the segment entirely. We prepare the strongest possible file and tell you the truth about the odds.
- A properly prepared file, not a form-filling exercise
- Honest assessment of your prospects up front
- Alternatives discussed where banking is unlikely
Mainland, free zone and offshore jurisdictions we file in — so the recommendation is based on your activity, not on which authority we happen to be registered with.

What banks assess
Why onboarding is difficult
Each of these can stop an application.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Source of funds | Must be documented, not asserted. |
| Business substance | Banks want a real, explainable business. |
| Counterparty countries | Some jurisdictions end the conversation. |
| Owner residence | Non-resident ownership raises the bar. |
| Activity | Some activities are effectively unbankable here. |
| Structure complexity | Layered ownership reduces the chances. |
Bank onboarding decisions rest entirely with the bank. No adviser can guarantee an account, and we do not claim to. An International Business Company must at all times have a registered agent licensed by the Financial Services Authority. That is a statutory requirement in Seychelles, not a commercial preference. We co-ordinate your engagement with a licensed Seychelles registered agent and manage the process end to end; the regulated filings are made by them.
How it works

Preparation is the only lever anyone has.

Prepare the file
Corporate documents, business plan, source of funds evidence and contracts assembled so nothing invites a query.
Introduce and follow through
Introduction made where appropriate, queries answered promptly and alternatives discussed if the answer is no.

Questions
Seychelles banking — FAQs
Can you guarantee a bank account?
No, and nobody can. Onboarding is the bank’s decision. What we can do is prepare the strongest file and tell you honestly how likely it is.
Is it hard to bank a Seychelles IBC?
Yes. It is the hardest part of the structure, and has become harder as banks have withdrawn from the segment.
Why do applications fail?
Most often inadequate source of funds evidence, a business the bank cannot understand, or counterparty countries it will not accept.
Can I bank outside Seychelles?
Often that is the practical route, though it depends on the bank and the structure. We discuss what is realistic.
What if no bank will onboard us?
Then we say so, and we discuss whether a different jurisdiction or structure makes more sense. That is more useful than taking a fee for an application that will fail.
