Records that satisfy ZATCA
Bookkeeping & Accounting Services in Saudi Arabia
Saudi record-keeping is tied closely to e-invoicing and to whatever ZATCA will later ask you to evidence. The books are the filing.

Books built for the filing you will have to make
Zakat and tax computations in Saudi Arabia are produced from the accounting records, and e-invoicing means the transaction data is already visible. Records assembled retrospectively rarely reconcile with what has already been reported.
- Records aligned to Saudi reporting standards
- E-invoicing data reconciled to the ledgers
- The same team through filing season
Mainland, free zone and offshore jurisdictions we file in — so the recommendation is based on your activity, not on which authority we happen to be registered with.

What we run
The Saudi accounting cycle
What applies depends on your ownership, size and activity.
| Work | What it involves | Rhythm |
|---|---|---|
| Bookkeeping | Sales, purchases, bank and cash posted, reconciled and supported | Monthly |
| E-invoicing reconciliation | Invoices issued through the e-invoicing regime tied back to the ledgers | Monthly |
| Management reporting | Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash position explained plainly | Monthly or quarterly |
| Financial statements | Year-end statements prepared on the standards applicable to you | Annual |
| Zakat or tax computation | The base prepared from the records, with supporting schedules | Annual |
| Audit support | Schedules and auditor queries handled where an audit applies | Annual |
Accounting standards, e-invoicing phases and audit requirements are set by the relevant Saudi authorities and change. What applies to your company is confirmed in writing.
How it works
Getting the books in order
Most engagements start by establishing what actually exists.
Position and handover
We review what exists, establish the opening position and confirm which reporting and e-invoicing obligations apply to you. You get a scope and a fixed monthly fee.
Set up and clean up
Chart of accounts built for your activity, backlog brought current, and the invoicing flow reconciled to the ledger so the two stop diverging.
Monthly rhythm
Posting, reconciliation and reporting each month, with the records kept in the state your zakat or tax filing will need.

Questions
Saudi accounting — FAQs
Which accounting standards apply?
Saudi companies report under the standards endorsed for them, which depend on the entity and its size. We confirm which apply to you rather than assuming the largest-company framework.
What is e-invoicing and does it affect me?
Saudi Arabia operates a mandated electronic invoicing regime, rolled out in phases. If it applies to you, your invoice data is already visible to the authority, which is why the ledgers need to reconcile to it.
Do I need an audit?
It depends on the entity and its circumstances. We confirm your position in writing rather than assuming, and prepare the schedules either way.
Can you take over messy records?
Yes. We establish an opening position, bring the backlog current, then keep it current. Clean-up is scoped and priced separately from the monthly work.
Do you handle the zakat or tax filing too?
Yes, under our tax compliance service and from these same records. Keeping them together is what avoids the year-end scramble.
