What happens if my CR expires?
Government transactions generally become blocked, which affects banking, employee processing and other renewals. Because the registrations are interlocked, one lapse quickly becomes several.
How many renewals does a Saudi company have?
Usually several on different cycles: Commercial Registration, investment licence, Chamber membership and municipal licence, alongside employee documents. We put them on one calendar.
Can I change activities after registration?
Yes, by amending the CR and, for foreign-invested companies, often the investment licence too. It can trigger new permissions, so effects are checked first.
How do I change the manager or shareholding?
Through a notarised amendment to the Articles, which then has to be reflected on the CR, the bank mandate and the government platforms.
Can you take over a company you did not set up?
Yes. We review the current registrations and employee documents, tell you what is outstanding, and run the calendar from there.
